In response to new attention and evolving practices in billing, health equity, and the informed consent process, The Leapfrog Group is advancing new measurement to assess surgery centers in these areas. At present, Leapfrog is scoring and publicly reporting measures on billing practices and informed consent prior to tests, treatments, and procedures; other measures will be scored and publicly reported in subsequent Survey cycles.
